I’m just going to get straight to it.
The things we claim to love deserve our commitment. The things we claim to love deserve that we show up, even when it’s difficult. Sometimes we cannot rely on spark and motivation alone. We may receive the spark, but to keep it from fading and dying out requires work.
This month, the energy of The Chariot with the Ace of Wands is ushering us to work on finding, or even reigniting, the light in us that has faded, the light that used to give us the hope, the excitement, the gusto to pursue and to show up for the things, and even people, that we love.
And as you work on this intentionally, or be forced to through divine intervention, you either discover how much you have missed the things that were put on pause, or realize that no matter how much you try to rekindle a dying flame, it just doesn’t resonate the same way anymore. And that’s okay. But if you’ve realized that something, or someone, is still worth the fight, maybe work on your commitment to showing up.
Personally, this resonates for me with my relationship with the Tarot and writing. For the longest time, I just drowned in the sea of demotivation, laziness even, and succumbing to the void and darkness of losing my “spark.” But, yes, the things we claim to love sometimes requires us to fight for them, so even if writing is difficult, I am working through it. I don’t think it’s a flame that I am willing to just lose without putting up a fight.
However the message of The Chariot and Ace of Wands resonates for you, at this moment, wherever you are in your life, I hope you find it in you to work through it, too.
NOW CHOOSE YOUR OWN CARD FOR THE MONTH:
[LEFT] 4 of Pentacles
Work on decluttering. Ask the Universe for wisdom to discern what you are still holding on to or keeping that is already past due, and ask for strength to ease your transition on releasing. The sooner you release, you create space for the things, and people, that are ready to journey with you as you begin a new chapter in your story.
[MIDDLE] 6 of Swords
Your old ways are no longer working. This signifies that you need to grow and be willing to expand. Your old habits and routines are no longer serving you for your highest good. It’s time to recalibrate and adopt new and healthier routines. Your old ways will not help you move towards the “new” lifestyle that you’re wanting to attain.
[RIGHT] 5 of Wands (Rx)
No more excuses. No more trying to justify your unhealthy and even toxic behaviors. No more finger-pointing and blaming others, or the world, for your unhappiness. Take responsibility for how you want to change your life. The only person stopping you from making a 360-pivot right now is yourself. Will yourself to see things for what they are. No filters.
And that’s it. I hope, somehow, you found what you needed in this very short but direct musing.
Until next time,
